Just to update.
I’ve sent the atom back as after about 24 flights i just wasn’t as impressed with the quality of the footage.
The night flight seemed OK. (The blackpool lights worked well but think the lights in the dark make it look better as not as much details)
The day flights i was always feeling the picture was just not quite clear enough most of the time, and with the pictures i was always less than impressed especially the stitching when compared to other examples, i thought it might be due to wind ext but even with very low wind i found they never stitched right and allthough the general picture seemed quite nice when you start looking it lacked details and even the main focus would be a little fuzzy.
Dont get me wrong, i loved flying it the features worked quite well and the adition of the waypoints was a nice update, and it can give some good results but not every time.
If your budget cant go past that of the atom 2 its going to get you into flying and you can get some good results at half the price of main dji competitor.
But as i could still return my aton and from xmas and birthday i have a little more buget. Ive gone for the DJI mini 4 pro since i now know i have the bug.
Just ordered, get on monday. Looking forward to first flight
