Speedybee have entered the Wing market and released this new F405 Wing FC with Wifi and Bluetooth built in. Compatible with INav and Ardupilot. Looks like a great FC with superb feature set for only $40! :grinning:

Saw his and Giz’s reviews last night.
Looks pretty amazing for the price, I think it will be going in my Mini Talon build
:+1:

I really love the build quality and value of Speedybee products and this new Wing FC looks like it will be just as good as previous products

Thats a bloody bargain Steve :star_struck:

Looks like Matek are fighting back, nice price, UK delivery (HobbyRC)

Awesome, didn’t think it’d be long lol

I’d still pick the speedy bee over this. For what reason for 5 quid more would you get this when the speedy bee has more outputs, comes with a load of cables. The USB remote mountable… I dunno… if this is smaller I guess that’s a plus point (as the speedy bee is large). But seems less for the money.

Ok matek have a great reputation, but I think there’s at least 5 of us here with the speedy bees, would you really pick this v2 over that?

don’t forget the WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities of the speedybee :+1:t2:

I’ve got 3 speedybee F405s now and they are fantastic. :+1:t2:

After using it with the speedy bee app and it resetting a number of auto launch settings as wasn’t properly compatible with iNav 6.1.0 I’ll stick with a cable thanks. However it is awesome heh

speedy bee = 52x32x19 24.5g
mateksys = 54x36x13 25g

speedy bee looks better option

I’ve ordered one to look at

I’m very impressed with this compared to my V1 Matek, looks like I might end up with another 3 to upgrade my other models…

it’s a fantastic board. I particularly like the fact it powers the 5v rail from USB for setting up the RX without needing to power up with a battery. It’s also handy to power the GPS with a usb power bank so you don’t waste flight time waiting for a lock especially if its a cold start.

Most boards do that if you use 4v5 surely? Also a powered usb port? The f411 matek I have does. Never owned one of the og Marek f405s though. The matrk VTOL 405 does without issue too (one in the ranger).

Same with my quads both the mamba and speedybee

It was Matek that first introduced the 4V5 pads for RX and GPS from USB cable
Great idea it was, now used by others :+1:
