There’s loads of open land not far from you buddy, particularly around hesketh bank. I’m not a million miles from you near Preston.
It’s the whole getting caught travelling under lock down that seems to be issue at min at least if I walk to the area can play soft ha. Preston not far away at all when it’s all over we should try and find somewhere to meet up.

Nice I’m from Southport myself and visit home from time to time I’ve the mini 1 mini 2 and zoom the mini is the best for built up areas and has far less restriction check this out

Really impressive Southport is such a nice town to fly in just need to get some hours practice and confidence in the drone and hone a bit more adventurous.

Welcome to GADC, I am just down the coast in Liverpool, I often fly on the sefton coastline not had many problems, mainly on social media never been challenged directly.
The organisation who challenged me online had no idea what they was talking about when I challenged them with CAA policy they had egg on their face and embarrassed themselves.
Fly safe, abide by the drone code and you shouldn’t have any issues. I also approached a local farmer who u know personally, he owns the land surrounding Woodvale and beyond into crosby, and he has gave me permission to fly on his land (outside of the FRZ)

That’s amazing news because Southport pier offers some great shots think will start off when the tide is out until I can fully trust my skills.
