Newcastle beach - Added to Beaches and Seaside Resorts in Northern Ireland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Can be accessed from several car parks and a short walk just need to be careful of helicopters from the slive donard hotel due to high profile visitors

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 08/06/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Hi @Mournedrone, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

Do I need a permit from the council to fly here? Also Drone Assist app shows this as a yellow zone. Can I still fly? New to drone flying so pardon my ignorance

Thanks

If it helps, Drone Scene shows no airspace restrictions in this area.

Drone Scene also tells you the details of any byelaws or policies that the council have (if any)
