Normanton Down - Added to Iconic Landscapes and Ancient Sites in South West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission obtained.

Close by a large collection of barrows, 1km south of Stonehenge, that is thought to be one of the most important Neolithic and Bronze Age barrow cemeteries in the country.

It consists of three long barrows, a mortuary enclosure and nearly forty round barrows.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 18/07/2024. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
