How did the rc boat go?
Massive thanks to Steve @stevesb for organizing this meet 
was good to see him again and It was great to meet Richard @Jools and Charlie @CeeGee1 for the first time
Charlie came with his newly purchased second hand Mavic Pro that he was unsure about how to set it up with his phone and the Go4 app
10 minutes later he had his first flight
We can’t wait to see the pictures

Not so good.
I had to change the propshafts yesterday night but the props are not right so it was a bit slow, and they aren’t balanced so sounded like a chain saw.
Maybe next time.

I have to say thank you intrepid flyers for this thread. It has been a joy to watch the initial suggestion develop into a fantastic meet. The photos are amazing and although I live far too far from Blackpool, I so wish I could have been there.
Really looking forward to the coming spring/summer with warmer weather to exercise my drone like this.

I was in Fleetwood in the afternoon. After sorting things out in the morning, we fancied a drive somewhere and ended up at Freeport for some last minute father of the bride shopping then a walk to the market and along the prom to the lifeboat and Milly’s for some chips. Did you notice the reg of Mill’s van, laid out as L11K ME 
A few more pics, not taken from drone. Would have been good to get a FPV chasing the boat in shot but maybe another time.

Funny, you know we were talking km flown and air data, and i said i think i had flown 1178km. I honestly wasn’t sure but, when i checked it was.
On friday morning i added another 28km. And another 11 yesterday.
