Hi all i am going to northern Ireland in November, i am looking for places to fly while i am there any suggestions gratefully received.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section
It maybe good practice to look at some of the locations that have all ready been flown by the GADC members on dronescene, also you may find a few along the way of your own ![]()
Where in NI will you be visiting? What kind of flying do you like doing?
Hoping to go to as many places as possible giants causeway etc, mainly photographs, and the odd video, i have mini pro 4
If you are happy flying over water, there is a huge amount of great places to fly on the North Coast.
At the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge they may be funny as it’s NT, but a few miles down the coast there is Kenbane (or Kinbane) castle. It’s a million steps down the cliff to get to it, but it’s on a rock out crop surrounded (almost, depends on tide) by water and is a good spot to combine water flying and castle ruins.
I live on the East Coast just South of the Mourne Mountains and there are lots of great places to fly around here too, if you’re going to be around the SE corner of the province.
Thanks for the info, i have no problem flying over water, the castle sounds a great place i will certainly try that out if i can
