Old Harry Rocks in black and white .... yeah baby I'm back :)

Did you miss me? :sweat_smile: Been away for a couple of months due to illness (and what has the weather been about??) but feeling more with it now. Spent a day walking the Dorset coastline last week and met no-one and nothing other than a few seagulls. I know the Rocks have been done many many times before, but I couldn’t resist. Humour me :smiling_face:

So, what have I missed here in Drone News ??

I’ve only ever seen them from the sea, love the black and white!

ahh you don’t want to know… just the usual… CAA are fiddling with the rules… again… confusion reigns with not knowing if we’ll be flying in 6m or a year… and nats are keen at the use of quad copter drone taxis … obviously in low level air space… you know what we fly in… Amazon are launching drone delivery services (again)… We’ve had a least 1 drone lost in a tree (with valiant attempts at recovering… to the point of suggesting cutting it down :speak_no_evil:) , Suzanne @AlbionDrones got a platinum pin award

other than that … it’s been quiet. :cricket::cricket:… You’ve not missed much

@Camera-On
Thanks Cameron, I think the black and white suits them. They are spectacular from the sea too! I’ve got some top-down shots that make them look like a resting dinosaur skeleton. I was like a big kid with a christmas present :joy:

That’s an impressive, and very accurate, summary there Rob mate :smiley:

@robertspark so things much the same then :flushed:

oooh @AlbionDrones get you!! very well deserved, your videos are beyond awesome!

Aww, thanks Amber, appreciate the kind words… My video’s are getting there, still room to improve though - was hoping to be in Sutherland on the NC this week for a few days, but alas flu has laid me low and it doesnt look like we will get back to Scotland until February at least…

Glad to hear you are back and recovered… Your own work is inspirational :slight_smile:
Hugs

feel better soon! x

Pretty much recovered now, but soo far behind in workshop didnt have gifts made for our friends, so have delayed our trip until Feb… Had a restful weekend and today, I think one more day of rest and then I have some leatherworking, woodworking and forging to do… Going to be busy Crafting between Yule and NY I think, at least it gets me away from the MiL for a bit :slight_smile:

Indeed @CalderDrone as long as you’re prepared to do the steps :cold_sweat:

Bittersweet when I see pictures of Purbeck. I grew up there living at various times in Swanage or Corfe.

I know the rocks well having walked over the down, flown a Cessna over them and seen them many times from the sea and occasional dived under them :slight_smile:

Sorry to hear you have been unwell and good to see you are out and about again !
