Options for a basic drone as of August 2025
I’m looking at options for a replacement for my lost DJI Mini 4K
Price maximum is maybe £300
I’ve got a spare battery for the Mini, so hope to reuse it
Want to have the same 4K quality for the camera
Is there a “next gen” of the Mini 4K coming soon, even already available

Did you not buy Care Refresh?
Sadly I didn’t realise this was an option, and by the time I did, it was no longer an option 
How much does it cost?
And do you happen to know if I can get the drone without the controller, as I still have my original … only the drone was lost

@steveculshaw you can get just the drone ether via direct from DJI or Amazon

You can also apply the DJI refresh when you get the new drone too so that it saves you in the event of this happening again or if you crash and need a repair.

I really wish I had … and I certainly will when I can buy a replacement
Far from it, it really is a no brainer for these little mishaps
I can personally agree with @milkmanchris when he says Care Refresh is worth it…had my severely damaged Air 3 replaced by Dji and the whole claim process was very simple and they sent me a new, sealed and boxed retail unit in two working days

I bought a years care & refresh with mine, just purchased another years, if you do it before first years expires you can renew without hassle.
Something weird, I renewed care n refresh for the 2 se back in July ( bought Aug last year), just checked for my Neo and can’t renew, says no longer meets requirements? Still a months left so don’t understand.
