Parallels Desktop on MacBook to run Dronehacks

Hi
As per my thread yesterday about windows PC which I now have and the update is taking forever.
However a good friend of mine who runs his own IT business asked to ask if anyone knows the question.
Ok so we no D H says no MacBook right but apparently ( and I don’t mean partition ) this parallels that I’ve never heard of is something to do with windows & the possibility to instal on your Mac & then use this rather than having to get a PC for your exploit mod.
He don’t know about the drone firmwares etc is why he asked has anyone tried this or looked into this just a thougt or is it a still no go !

On google
Parallels Desktop is an application for Mac that allows you run Windows, Linux or even OS X operating systems and applications created for them on your Mac . This is made possible thanks to a specific software technology called desktop virtualization.

The answer is no…

Ah didn’t see that, that’s that then
Thankyou

Oh yeah your a Mac Man I forgot :grimacing::smile:

If it’s Intel MacBook it’s easier just to dualboot to Windows. If it’s M1, you need Windows 11 ARM for starters. Currently there is no solution to run Intel architecture OS on VM on M1s by any virtualisation software (Parallels, VMWare, VirtualBox etc.)

Just because developer says something doesn’t run on a VM doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t, but rather that you are on your own if something goes wrong.
