Partridge Hall Quarry, Burnby, East Yorkshire - Added to Everything Else in Yorkshire and the Humber

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Partridge Hall Quarry was acquired by the Ashcourt group in 2014, extending the companies mineral reserves to over 2 million tons.

For the Quarry, Parking is possible by the side of the road which runs from Burnby past the quarry - the verges are very wide. This is a very quiet spot on a weekend, so TOAL can be done from the verge.

Partridge Hall itself is actually a farm to the West of the quarry, with a public footpath running through it, offering excellent views over the vale of York to the West. The farm was once part of the nearby Londesborough Hall estate. The Yorkshire Wolds long distance footpath route now passes through Londesborough Park.

There aren't any pubs close by, however The Goodmanham Arms (in Goodmanham) is only 9 minutes away by car. Goodmanham - Wikipedia
