Thanks Kev, it was my third attempt at Peveril Castle, because on each previous occasions the wind was too high in Cave Dale (despite not being all that strong in the general area).

Best of luck. It’s worth the effort as is Winnats Pass just up the road.

Sure. Personally though I wouldn’t want to launch from the village. I looked at launching in the car park on one occasion, but finally decided on Cave Dale, which was much more scenic and with almost no people.
