I was so aware of staying above 20m, it was off-putting!
I was at 30 - 40m at the lowest - though I get the feeling they would not have been that bothered
I phoned on my first take off and land and at the end of my first landing call I asked if I could just ring the when it was all done later that afternoon and they were cool with that haha - very relaxed they were.
I called 15 minutes early, and was told to ring back at the due time.
They weren’t bothered with which drone either, even when I asked if it was ok to land one and go up with the other.
She seemed quite polite really, asking at the end if I’d got some good images!
I got no answer a couple of times, but the rung me straight back.
The workers on the runway might have had something to say if I’d got too close though

Yeah think her name was Louise - she said it quite quick and there was others in the background but yeah she was super friendly - made all the difference

yea was weird! they were so relaxed today about it, normally its when yaa land and move and take off again but today is whats your flight approval, yep good to fly, let us know when your done for the day lol i was but shoicked tbh haha
