Badges for reaching certain numbers of “I’ve flown here, too” check-ins.

The trouble is, as I see it, in the main they would probably go to the same people that have already earned the various “Pin Seeker” badges, with the disadvantage that there’s no real proof for the adding oneself as an “I’ve flown here too.”.
I don’t think the “I’ve flown here” option is available on the pins I’ve created.
Edit - wait, I’m an idiot (again) - I’m already listed.
Anyway, shouldn’t be rocket science to exclude created pins from visited pins?

I was meaning more in the fact it’s probably the same people that drive around everywhere flying both new and existing places.
Possibly. Collectors be collectin’. 
Also - don’t forget there are already several leader tables at : https://beta.dronescene.co.uk/about#Top10 … and below on that page, and the “Top Roaming Flyers” relates to your idea.
That’s very true but they’re not badges, and people like badges.
At the end of the day, I personally couldn’t care less. It’s not something I’m likely to engage with. I just thought if it was easy enough to do it might
a) give people who wanted it something to aim for
and
b) encourage a bit of interaction with Drone Scene
Yes, it would be difficult to validate but it’s not a security feature, it’s a silly bit of flair on a hobbyist website.
As I said right at the start, it was just a thought.
