I also had a few people who stated they did went to attend future events. More details of last event: Southwest of London Meetup | Saturday 27th July 2024 Surrey, GU9

English Heritage: “Great news that you would like to come back – let me check the date with the site manager.” Date (September 29th) may be getting nearer poor weather, so I like to gauge interest.

Requirements:-

  • Both flyerID & Operator ID
  • Make / model of drone(s) to be used;
  • Drone public liability insurance; example
  • £30 per person flying a drone- [a 20% reduction on standard drone fee]
    • Paid in advance - weather is our risk.

Where’s the “I’m running a 30 mile Ultra” option?

The site really was very good last time. We had the perfect weather for it and a great day out.
Even if this visit is only half as good (assuming it goes ahead), think it’s worth it.

Plus, lessons learned from last time…

  • Take something to shade us near gate so we can handle visitor interactions easier (without the 100m march from TOAL to gate constantly)
  • Potentially take a piece of paper for visitors to sign in/out easily if we are going to allow people in; I could probably throw a simple QR code “I agree to blah” site up if we want electronic instead?
  • Call ahead to the Manor to let them know the site will be closed so they know how to advise people correctly?

The 29th is booked with English Heritage.
Will throw up the details next week, (when back near a computer),

Requirements remain the same.
