Polney Loch, Dunkeld

A place I have driven past many times but never had time to stop and explore. I’ve also just started playing with manual panos instead of letting DJI do it for me, and then using lightroom to stitch them together. 9 manual picures taken from straight above, edited in photoshop and rotated as some in here don’t like vertical panos

The best way to do it imho :+1:

I’ve been forced into it. The gimble on my mini 2 goes wonkey when using the pano function and I end up with a couple of shots where the horizon isn’t level.

Interesting - hadn’t thought of trying that….
And lovin’ portrait format as I’m checking out most of these on my phone!
Thx for sharing.

Been trying the same recently. Might’ve overdone it yesterday though - Lightroom has been trying to stitch together a 100-picture HDR panorama for over three hours now. When I tried in Photoshop Raw editor it ran for two minutes before giving me a big “Nope, can’t!” error box

Edit: Finally finished just as I hit send!

My pc would go on fire if I tried to get it to stitch 100 photos together!!!
Honestly, LightRoom makes such an easy job of it, I wonder now why I bothered with the auto panos. I mind the early days of stitching though, using a DOS program to stitch together a dozen home developed negatives that were fed into a film scanner, took a day to get one photo
