One of these? Looks funky.

Kind of reminds me of these guys, though.

Their site seems a bit temperamental in places. Is this not it?

Or try here for other models: https://support.en.powervision.me/support/home

I am sure in his collection Nidge has one of them @Nidge

Is that the one that you launch by throwing it in the air?

Is this the one @jimvfrmoto750 ?

Ben it to bloody heavy ,if I throw it up it would come down a hell of lot faster.

Spike, I think you are referring to their next drone but will look at the app to see if it will help.

Entirely possible Jim mate.

Have a search around on that APK Pure site, they seem to have everything since the dawn of time on there

@jimvfrmoto750 I’ve replied to your DM, Jim.

But I’ll also put the link here:

I think Powervision, like many other drone manufacturers, is slowly disappearing. Links to some of their order pages no longer exist. They are still in their offices in China as one of them messaged me earlier today. I think what ever products they still have are now being liquidated in the Black Friday sales. These are the mobile phone gimbal and I think one of their submersibles.

Not to be a sourpuss, but if you were to follow this link from my post

and then click on “Vision+ App download” in the Downloads section it will take you to a page with this link

Sheesh! At least you got there in the end.

I’m sure I saw a drone that was a similar shape, that you threw in the air and it immediately started hovering.

Captain Drone did a few vids about this a couple of years ago, you might want to have a gander at them.

Thank you for the that ,will check it out.

I know you can do it with the Tello. You can also do it with the 3DR Solo and other Arducopter based drones. Here’s an example with a Parrot Bebop2 running Arducopter.

Cheers, that’s interesting.

The one I had in mind was specifically designed to be launched like that. It did look a bit like an egg, and then when you threw it up, the arms popped out with the props and it started to hover. Can’t remember the name of it though.

Found it. It failed though as a product.
