Prestwick St. Nicholas Parish Church, Prestwick - Added to Places of Worship in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Prestwick St. Nicholas Church is in the centre of the town of Prestwick on the Ayrshire coast. It is right in the middle of Prestwick Airports FRZ so permission is required for a flight. The church is only one mile from the actual airport runway. Permission for a drone flight is required from the ATS Watch Manager of the day, but they will only consider your request once you have contacted Police Scotland and been issued with a Police Incident No. Diagonally across from the church on Ayr Road is a small grassy area off the main road which is suitable for TOAL.

The originator declared that this location was inside a flight restriction zone at the time of being flown. Permission to fly was obtained from ATS Watch Manager, Prestwick Airport. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
