programing a drone to fly on autopilot

Hi,
I am new to done flying and i want to do some work for our companys webpage.

I want to know if the drone can be preprogramed to fly a specific course/direction/height like being in an autopilot mode.
I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

You don’t say which drone … some can be, some can’t.

Hi, many camera drones can do waypoints. Using the onboard maps just mark a series of points (ie waypoints) set height and speed and the drone will follow this route allowing you to concentrate on camera imaging. Does this help?
