Yeah that’s ace.
Talking of old quarries. Your not far/or wasn’t when you took these from Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Bet you can get some belting photos there.

Very nice. That place and a couple of others around there are on my list, I used to go walking in the area. The ‘Blue Lagoon’ across the road has gone, swallowed by the quarry, but the legendary Ponderosa lives on, perhaps it still is a ‘biker’ cafe … :wink:

A long while since I’ve been there - I went scuba diving in the Blue Lagoon a couple of times in the mid-90s :slight_smile:

Wow, I meant to ask, did you see any cars? It had a reputation for being a car park.

Yes, several cars down there. In fact one of my visits was for a training exercise where we used airbags to lift and move one of the cars :slight_smile:
