Quick labels

I’m leaving on Sunday for the Outer Hebrides and have just obtained my new Flyer ID after passing the test again. I need new labels to arrive by Saturday - can anyone suggest who/where to use?

Dont know how quick amazon delivers up you way but I’ve got one of these. Usefull for allsorts not just your drone. All my Makita tools are in Makpac cases and all labelled with whats inside them. You can put your ID on one and phone number on another. Thats what I’ve done

Just checking that you’ll be attaching your Operator ID to your drones, rather than your Flyer ID

And I think Royal Mail might be your blocker on any type of quick delivery service these days

I got my labels from AirPixel, and the stickers came back quicker than I expected, and great quality too. :slightly_smiling_face:

While I was waiting the day or two for them to come, I just used a bit of masking tape with the Operator ID on, just in case anyone tried to be a bit funny.

Send me a message with them, I will get them posted first class tomorrow

Just click on AirPixel which is a link to their site. :slightly_smiling_face:

Sent you a message Ewan

Make a temporary one yourself while a printed one arrives. Write it small on a piece of paper, cut close around the ID and use selotape to stick to the drone.

Exactly what I did and it’s been firmly attached ever since.

Airpixel and 1st class or faster delivery method as per their site…

I got one of these on Amazon Prime (next day delivery too) and was decent, think it can print up to 100 labels on the cartridge that comes with it

Nelko Label Maker P21 Portable Bluetooth Sticker Printer with Tape

I never got the obsession with professionally printed labels. Just write it on a bit of tape and stick it to the drone under the battery

I use one of these, great for drone labels, freezer bags, spice jars etc, etc.

Got mine from Amazon in one day

That’s the one I use,had it for over a year now and still works great.

Is it an obsession to get something that looks nice and professional, and made to last! :slightly_smiling_face:

Perhaps obsession isn’t the word. ‘Trend’ perhaps. I mean, it’s just your ID, perhaps a telephone number and if you put it under your battery its not like anyone will ever look at it. As many said here, a Dymo label printer (like I used) does a pretty decent job. Post like this original one where someone is worried because they don’t have a sticker I don’t understand. Do people think they ‘need’ a nice label…

Yep!

I use one of these.

The app lets you import small images too, that how I got this sticker for my 4th Avata 2.

Can people not just want nice labels! :slightly_smiling_face:

The company I linked are offering, imho, quality products at, again imho, reasonable prices. It is not a huge market after all. And delivered quickly, which was something the OP asked for. Use them or not, but they are one of the options for people who want their type of products.

As I mentioned, before the stickers arrived I wrote the Operator ID on a bit of masking tape, and you can’t get cheaper than that.

I now have an Operator ID sticker on one side, and an ‘if found number’ with QR code on the other. And the batteries have sticker too. QR code aside, I could have done all that with a pen and masking tape. But I chose not to.
