Did a test today @GrahameRob and yes, confirmed - walking while trying to keep your intended object framed, while trying to adjust the slider (which is approx 3mm wide) does indeed cause this error 
Now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the thumb-wheel attachment

I’ve been watching videos on YouTube about filters now too 
In the mean time, I’ve been playing with the controller wheel (which is brilliant) and the wireless base, will try and post some details later today.
