Had to drive down to Southampton yesterday and with an hour to kill, decided to detour via the New Forest and get the drone out
After a quick look on Drone scene, decided on Hatchet Pond. Perfect weather, great location (only 25 minutes drive from the centre of Southampton), and grabbed a load of non-drone shots into the bargain once the Mini 4 Pro was back in the car - ones for Flickr and my photography website.

I live about 4 miles from there as the crow flies
Just be careful of the Forestry England’s byelaws that forbid hobbyist drone flying in the New Forest itself (unless you have permission from a private land owner).
I’ve heard the odd case recently of local residents calling up the Forest Rangers and grassing flyers up.
Thanks for the heads-up - liked it so much from what i saw i was planning to do a days flying down there in a few weeks time. Will have to re-think then

Do what I do, stick to all the coastal areas, you’ll get some better scenic shots than inside the forest itself. Even though these area are still inside the NPA boundary, they are out side of the perambulation boundary so not an issue - I’ve never had one.
