Quickshots, POI and gimbal position

Hi folks,

Is it normal for the gimbal to return to the “horizontal position” or I would guess where the drone thinks it should be when starting a QS or POI? I’m using an Air 3.

I was trying to get it to stay in a 45 degree down position but on the start of the manouver it returns to straight forwards on that particular occasion.

Is there a way to prevent this while using these auto modes?

Quickshots is all about the camera being locked to a point of interest so the software controls the gimbal

Hiya,

Thanks for the reply anbd the video.

When I sat down and thought about it, as you say its doing what it’s meant to. Hence if I wanted the gimbal down at the height I was at I should have set the POI lower.

Still getting used to thinking in greater XYZ dimensions compared to walking with my DSLR.

Great video, the QS Circle worried me speeding up, I even contacted Dji because I thought it was faulty. Shame I wish the speed stayed the same
