Raby Castle - Added to Castles and Fortifications in North East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

There is a layby opposite the castle for TOAL, just time it correctly to get the drone over the road.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 24/09/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Excellent video. Out of interest, what was your height around the castle? I’m guessing at 30m.

You may want to add go for 55m as the tree tops are approx50-51m :thinking:

Didn’t spook any deer ? …….the Raby Estate certainly isn’t very drone friendly ……well done
