I think last time my lounge was like that for a week. Now I tend to eat on the sofas, and my dining room table was covered in bits removed from the lounge, so I just starved, haha! Been two days this track, probably last session on Sunday before submitting it. Less pressure when not streaming!
Well there’s track 2 done, what a little geht this one. It was a slower track than week 1, just couldn’t find the low…
Also featured in the prize give away live stream video (didn’t win a prize, but hey ho!)
I would only recommend watching more of that live stream if you need something stronger than Geeksvana to help you sleep. Sorry skittles, but you make Sean look interesting!
Also take a 2 - 0 lead into week 3 against a fellow Drone Circle member. Bring it on he said ;)… BOOM, think his was 43.01 so close, close close. Wonder how Bardwell did this week!
Onto track 3, that’s huge and have no idea whether I’ll be able to fly it in my lounge, so I might have to knock a wall down or something
@gunja99 In a Tier with JB - celebrity death match time! That’s gotta feel good, right?!
I’ve not posted a time yet - I thought the situation at work would improve in time for track 2, and in fact it’s got worse!
I’m hoping I might make it in for (enormous!) track 3. Let me tell ya, those people at the very, very, very bottom of the standings won’t know what’s hit 'em…
Track 1 was surprised only a second or two behind him (I know he’s not a racer, but it’s JB!), so yeah, even 0.2 seconds, yeah… it’s good
Had a really busy few weeks myself, and it’s hard. Lucky I can set it up and leave it, and get at least one or two evenings to have a go!
It’s bad in the space I have, I know my friend just can’t fit it. I can fit it, but you can be smoother by going wide sometimes, and it’s just not possible. I see the top guys can keep close, but that ain’t me!
Hah, at least you doing it, and boy it’s improving my technique, and it’s nice to have something to focus on indoors, instead of just “I’ff fly upstairs, and under a table or chair”. It’s like… yeah
Actually played the SIM with @Earwig and @bmsleight last night, and even there it was “last go”, then after, “one more, one more”. It’s that focus. Aint even gonna be top, or even close to top, but it’s fun, and relatively simple! Though NGL the lap timer is a life saver from working out if that was quicker, or at least knowing whether to review that DVR footage!
it does feel more real, and it’s what the “racers” use I guess. Nothing compares to real life. I do find I’m a lot better with whoops IRL than on the SIM though, like 10 seconds straight off the bat for 3 laps, not sure why! Though 5 inch it’s great fun! Maybe I just need to play with the settings of the quad a little more in SIM. Also Liftoff can show the track better than Velocidrone, but once you’ve learnt a track it’s not too bad!
Get that whoop pack, it’s a lot of fun the warehouse and stuff
Heh yeah, he’s not posted, and not on the early submission list. I think I scared him off. What excuse? He’s a full time droner! I won’t hear it, lol!
Yeah, though leaving any of that until the Easter weekend! Might do the SIM though. Also nearly won one of the prices last night on the big scary wheel
