Rare view of Belper River Gardens drained for maintenance

It was extremally windy on Friday but I managed to capture a rare moment on the River Derwent here at Belper as they have opened the sluice gates to do repairs. Very odd seeing the boating lake all dry.

Great video @comedyhunter!
I find the challenge with all these videos in this community is to spot the drone pilot - maybe a competition idea (?).

Looks quite odd doesn’t it Andy - all those mud flats, complete with an old tyre!

About 1:45 with the black jacket and red bag? What do I win?

Yes you win - now the challenge is to have another 360 degree video, the pilot not being in the video yet ensuring VLOS!

Was expecting a few shopping trolleys. Great to see that they still take the time to do it.
