I have to say, I do find them intriguing. But what I am more interested in are glasses that work as displays within my field of vision. Like a headup display in some cars. I am not too sure I would make use of the camera a lot. The audio speakers that are built in sound very interesting.
That’s the problem with the Mini JCW, it’s goes from standstill to 80mph way too easy / fast and then keeps going to an electrically restricted 155mph.
However I’ve not tried it (yet)
I’ve seen a couple of YT videos of the Mini JCW doing 250 km / hr on the German autobahn.
My other half being blind finds these very useful (she had the first generation ones) originally had to use through a vpn to pretend she was in the states due to different privacy laws, now all sorted and no longer needed. However her guide dog ate them, couldn’t stand the competition.
They were replaced with Oakley,s due to better weather resistance (at the time) I believe that the 2nd gen Ray Bans have improved weather resistance.
It means she can get assistance navigating unfamiliar environments, read labels & a whole lot more.
