Amazing… 100% worked. FCC unlocked along with a bunch of other cool and useful mods. It’s worthwhile keeping the readme.txt on your phone too so you have the codes to hand as you need to change your drones name to the individual commands to enable them. FCC is enabled by default but you can toggle it on or off with the command. Very handy. Also, i can confirm this is using all the latest FW updates as of today. Worth every penny.

personally i think the EU brought us nothing but trouble. i was against it from the start.
The UK took the leap out and it will cost them a lot of money but at least they got rid of it(for the most part)
So even when the UK is no longer part of the EU they obviously still need to comply to EU rules.
I Did a test today.
on a flight where i previous only got 300 meters i now get 600+ and counting.
going in a straight line towards an area without any disturbance on the horizon i can easy get 1000 meters with still full strenght so definately an upgrade.
so confirmed this hack is working like it should
On top of the fcc hack I can highly recommend the external antenna mod on the Rc pro… I used a antenna kit from which was perfect fit, cabling etc inside the controller. Now I’m no scientist but just flying the same routes before and after there is a great improvement even if its still in CE mode. Mystery to me why Dji didn’t just fit folding lollypop antenna as previously. No hardship just to raise them up.

if you use only use username/password then it is not safe.

external antenna’s are always better than internal antenna’s. i have seen these mods on youtube and they look really nice. one downside. i have a cynova case and i hate to modify it so it will hold the controller with the external connectors
Well it’s horses for courses I suppose… I regularly fly 2 miles in rural areas (excellent eye sight) and hold 5 bars for the most part, most limiting thing now being the standard battery. If anyone wants a link to antennas I bought I will find it. Think it was 24 quid posted. Only hard part is very carefully opening the Tx case so as not to leave a mark. There dual frequency 2.4 and 5.8.

Importantly with the Internal antenna I think there sat in a “dirty” RF place. Very apparent when you take the case apart. Least external jobs are outside the bad whizzy stuff. Go for it!

connect to the official software - Check the firmware of the remote control in the official software and upgrade to the latest
firmware - Close the official software
- Put the registration code in pass.txt
- Open djifcc.exe and start running, the first run is to register the software, the second and third
time are to install FCC, at least three times, - If it fails or gets stuck, you can try to run it again, and the software can run repeatedly
- If you want to uninstall FCC, click on the remote control settings, delete all data, and restore the
factory settings.
