the antenna’s look really good but on the connector i see a huge ring, is that going to fit inside the controlller?
Here is one of the removed antenna. You can see the 2 tracks, 2.4 and 5.8. Tiny… Amazed they get as far as they do.

ah. the round part goes to the outside, makes sense.
i will give it some thought.
first i need to make a couple of runs to see how the range is now it is FCC enabled.
i guess even when on CE mode these external antenna’s make a huge difference.
can you post some more photo’s of the original antenna
side where the coax is connected, front and back side
it looks like the small part in the middle is the antenna and the rest is acting as a ground plane.
weird that the put the ground plane on top instead of the bottom

So, I requested the unlock from Sincoder this morning and he has requested payment with Trc20 bitcoin. Not seen anyone mention this from him before so I have asked if he will take Paypal. Anyone else had a bitcoin payment request from him?

Wouldn’t have a clue as to how to obtain bitcoin or any other type of coin.
Unless I could find it down the back of the sofa?
Update: I asked to pay by Paypal instead and he sent me a new payment link so I have the software and serial number now.
I suppose more than anything at least it is aired here that he does ask for Bitcoin sometimes so not to be worried if that is the case as he does still take Paypal if you request it.

will this fcc hack survive all controller resets?
reset wifi,mobile,blutooth
reset app preferences
erase all data (factory reset)
- If you want to uninstall FCC, click on the remote control settings, delete all data, and restore the factory settings.
ok clear. this is what i like to avoid so hence the question.
i wanted to try if i can get the compass a little better aligned by factory resetting but if it removed the FCC hack then i will not do this
it is only slightly misaligned(eg 1 meter to the left) so maybe this is within parameters
If you upgrade which you will probably want to in the future that will wipe out the hack
But as far as I understand you just reapply it
yes probably and if i need a new executable we probably need to ask Sincoder.
i am only going to upgrade if they fixed something significantly or if some new killer features are added
At the moment i am not aware of any major bugs

does this mean the sincoder patch saves stuff in the temp folder so when you run it the second time it does not need your sn anymore.
just want to make sure i do not clean out the temp folder so that the sincoder hack will run again when i need it(after a future upgrade)
sincoder gives you the zip file to connect, then waits for your payment then you get your serial code. When you connect to remote it will read your controller ID and then link paid serial with it.
When updating firmware and it reset hack you only need to connect again to sincoder remote connection and will update controller to be FCC hack, remember does not work on first connection normally so run the hack 3 times to get confirmation successful.
If you’ve cleaned out your temp folder or formatted or new computer, you can try without pass and see if works but if not just put pass in and follow instructions.
I do not change firmware unless it’s been tested and I see something I want so do not go through process as often.
I was working 3 codes so I had to delete temp folder constantly as remote server was freezing otherwise.
