Hi Im looking to fly in Madeira in Febuary.
I have looked on the various AAN, etc websites and they all allude to a digital ID.
Has anybody actually managed to obtain one of these, without being a Portuguese citizen!
If so How.

Just register through the AAN website and they send you a declaration that you have to digitally sign, you can do this with Adobe or through various free online resources
You will need an EASA registration though first

I do have an EASA registration from Ireland.
Did you get as far as them rejecting it?
Ok I managed to get hold of somebody in Portugal and I have now registered with AAN. However I think I still need to register with ANAC but this needs a digital CMD key which you cant get outside of Portugal/Madeira.
So I have my AAN authorisation set up and approved and I have my first AAN flight approval, for some beach flying, however!
Does anyone have a proper contact for the captaincy of the seas in Madeira?
That bit all seems a bit vague.
