I know I have a little time to sort this out, but I’d like to get a Remote ID module for my Mini SE sooner rather than later. It’s an old bird, but I enjoy flying it so would like to keep it aloft.
I’ve found a few that talk about supporting FAA regs and EU regs, but none yet on UK regs. Are there any around, or will one that supports FAA/EU do the job?

Personally, I’d hold fire. You’ve just under 2 years before you need to have RID, and the requirements could change - the CAA has form for changing their mind. Also, there’s always the chance that you may want to/have to replace your aircraft before then? Finally, better (cheaper/lighter?) RID units may be available in 18 months time… 
I agree! Also thats 2 years for people to develop smaller and lighter RID modules for drones that are flying a little close to the weight restrictions.
Weight restrictions won’t matter , it’ll all be about class marks (I reckon) and adding anything to a class marked drone will nullify it
Mightn’t it still matter for a sub-250g legacy drone?
People say 2 years, but it feels like it was only a few weeks ago my daughter was born, and she’s 3 next week. Seconds due in not so long as well, so there’s a good chance 2 years might feel like nothing (and I’d like to avoid a last minute rush to make it good).
Who’s to say legacy will still be a thing?
Personally I think for ease it will be class marked or by weight
And if it ain’t class marked you’ll be flying it in a field a million miles from nowhere
It’ll still be a thing - I’m totally confident. You can still drive an old MG Midget or fly a Gypsy Moth if they’re still safe. Legacy will live on
