Hi I live in one of a pair of villages both of which are holding Coronation events on the same day. My idea is to position myself between the villages, take off from my garden in village 1 then film a flyover of both events in one continuous flight maintaining VLOS. Question is will my mini3 take off if I’m a few hundred yards from it at the time?

How will it be in VLOS if it’s taking off 200m away from you ?
Good question. I will be higher than the house, looking down into a shallow valley so I will take off and control from above it to film for the first part then fly up and over my head to the second site maintaining VLOS. Hope that’s clear enough.
