Remove Skin / Wrap When Selling?

Hi. I am possibly looking at advertising my mini 2 for sale as i no longer use it because i also have a mini 3 pro… … not 100% if I’m going to sell or give it to a family member, hence the no pictures or asking price yet, this is merely a question

my question is…if I decide to sell would it be better if I remove the fluorescent skin/wrap before advertising it ?

Cheers

I’d say personal preference but myself,
If the drone is in really good condition id probably remove to show I’m not trying to hide anything,
Or secondly if the wrap is in really good nick then maybe id leave it on if that’s what the buyer wants, maybe you could offer with or without skin ? Then your being as transparent as possible regarding condition just a thought .

Yer, thats pretty much my line of thinking.

Funnily enough I’m selling my mini 2 which has a partial wrap and leaving it on. Buyer can always remove if they wish, no use to anyone otherwise to be fair and improves the visibility particularly if grey sky behind/above it.

It does improve vis slightly, but to the untrained eye it also makes them look a bit like a toy

Quite a lot of them seem to be mulitcoloured patterns or swirls, look cool close up but I would have thought would break up the outline and effectively camouflage the drone at any distance.

Having tried on on the Mavic Mini I think if I wanted to do something like this again I would remove the top and bottom covers and spray paint them in some sort of acrylic reflective or day-glo finish. It would look much better than stickyback skins, and I could varnish matt, eggshell, or gloss to whatever finish I wanted.

Personally, if I’m buying I’d want it to look as original and mint condition as possible, so my view is to remove it.

Sold my Mavic pro on ebay with a wrap, I told the buyer there was a mark at the back of the drone and left it up to them once they paid if they wanted me to remove it or I leave it on and they decide when they recieve the drone if they keep it or not. Ebay had their back if it was hiding something.

IMO leave it on and dont do anything until youre paid. My original wrap for my Air3 was £50 I wouldnt be impressed if someone said peel it off then didnt end up buying it.
