I need to have a repair to part of the gimbal, there is a crack in part of the arm as shown in the attached photo. Suggestions or offers for a speedy repair. |Many thanks
Send it to DJI, it’s the cheapest option
Superglue would be even quicker ![]()
After crashing, I had to replace the camera cable (you may need to do the same), which required taking all this apart. Videos for fixing just about everything are on Youtube, and parts are available cheaply on Aliexpress:

It is a fiddly job, you need to be deft at fixing things and have a good toolkit. (And good eyesight or reading glasses.)
Many thanks for the feedback and suggestions from the team. Hopefully have it flying again soon and looking forward to the Pro5 very soon
I recently had a repair to my Mini3Pro after damaging the gimbal assembly. Where as taking time to follow the detailed instructions online would have been cheaper I believe by getting the experts https://dronedoctor.co.uk/ to do the job was the best option at a reasonable price. The service from start to finish was excelent and they would be my choice again. However, I hope I dont have to contact them again.
I’d totally agree with that, after fixing a broken front arm bracket on my Mini 4 Pro. Half the battle if having the right tools!
Are you not having any errors like imu and GPS and a gimble and it’s not got insurance cover a touch of glue be the answer.
I did a gimble replacement and after 100 times refitting gimble and dampers and imu board I found it easy in the end but only for SparkyFPV managing to get hold of the correct Calibration Firmware a Non-Public DJI Firmware for me I would never got it working. Most replacements even the arms need special data firmware where you think one for one swap be all that needed, a arm I would not replace and the arms circuit board is placed in a awkward place and you need to be a pro at soldering otherwise I would split and join along the wiring and hot clue to inside walls.
If you got errors I would definitely do what’s suggested send to DJI for a quote, look around as I think I’ve read others did this and quote was reasonable and tell you the truth I had a brain fart as I spent more buying a broken drone to fix mine.
