Well I’ve come all prepared and got my Hellenic approval for flying at specific times.
Just witnessed a bloke with his wife / girlfriend filiming her around the pool with no care for others.
He’s currently in the pool flying the drone following her around.
Maybe he will drop his controller on the pool. It’s people like that who give drone owners a bad name.

Indeed. I flew my Mini 3 Pro in my approved airspace unfortunately the sunset was on the other side of the island.
Hope you get some great footage and photos while your there.

Interesting to read that you obtained permission from the Greek authorities. We are heading to Rhodes for a family wedding next year and I was intent on taking Little Nellie with me. How do you go about sourcing flight approval for Rhodes, if I may ask, please?
I was on holiday at the village of Pefkos on Rhodes last month, lovely island. When/if I get my sub 240 drone, I may take it with me next time.
Hiya
I took my easa through Cyprus site and you get a european flyer id as UK one is not valid.
You then get a form to complete with your info, flying dates, location and type of drone and email it to them info@dagr.
Sometimes they might restrict your height, I got 200ft this time. Flew up and down the beach just before sunset.

Thanks for the info - are you flying greater than a Class 0 drone then?

Maybe it’s the way I have worded it, I understood Class 0 to be the sub 250gms models, and classes 1, 2 etc and above to be the heavier models, is this not the case?

is this not the case?
We are still yet to see any ‘C’ class drones.
Got approval to fly here later. Should be pretty cool around the port
