Park on Riber Road just before the T-junction then follow it on foot past the hall until it becomes the public footpath that runs down to Starkholmes. Just over the crest of the hill, where I have placed the marker, is a small field which is perfect for TOAL.
Contentiously, the Castle (Hall) itself has been undergoing conversion into apartments for several years and as such is fenced off and allegedly guarded 24/7. The location commands great views across the valley to Matlock.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 02/06/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
