Due to the proximity of the mountains surrounding Lake Garda it is normally quite windy, hence its popularity for water sports, including sailing, wind surfing etc and the Park in Riva Del Garda is usually heaving with holiday makers enjoying the Sun and the freshwater Lake.
So I went down early at about 0530 am to take this video and the number of people I encountered could be counted on one hand! But the best of all for me was the Lake was flat calm with virtually no wind at all. Anyway I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it (I liked chasing the boat the best)!
