You can park in a layby on a small country lane at the end of the footpath. The NT own a small woods between the footpath and the river but not the path itself. Can get a few walkers in the area but the path is wide and has open fields to one side of it. Once you take off and fly over the trees you get views of the river and lovely Cumbrian countryside beyond.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 03032021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
