Roman amphitheatre, Cirencester

A short trip out today, to the remains of the large Roman amphitheatre at Cirencester. The oval shaped banks are the remains of the raised seating around a central performance area. The banks are man-made using limestone blocks and there is evidence of them having wooden seating on them. Immediately adjacent to the site is a large limestone quarry.

I was very impressed at the DJI Mini 2’s ability to return rock-solid video footage despite some pretty strong wind, even at ground level. It was too cold for me to stay out for long!
