You might want to amend the title on your video Colin, it’s Rosslyn Chapel, not to be confused with the nearby village of Roslin or Roslin Country Park.

The village is called Roslin, it’s just the Chapel name that is spelt differently, Rosslyn.

I took this back in the mid-2000s when you could take photographs inside.

Yeah they stopped allowing photography a while ago. I visited with my old Canon 300D before they put the policy in place.

Nice little video. :+1:

And here is a Green Man from inside.

A common error!

The village name was originally the same as Rosslyn Chapel, but over the centuries got bastardised /shortened into ‘Roslin’.

Ye it was my mistake i hate predicted txt sorry guys

Great video - thank you.
Must visit instead of flying past to Edinburgh or Stirling!
Good pics inside too. Didn’t the restrictions begin after the Dan Brown novel made the big time?

Hi disc thank you ye think all photography stopped about then when i was there last night had a drone confrontation from a woman dog walker said i should not be flying my drone in that area infact my drone at the time was over ROSSLYN castle i tried to explain the drone laws but she wasnt interested and threatened me with the security and police there was no other people about she got quite stroppy about the whole thing thanks again disc

It was after the movie was released. My photos are from 2007, a year after the movie came out, but they probably banned photography not long after.
