And, to end this Bank Holiday weekend of Celebration and Coronation we have the closing (and possibly most important) event - the announcement of the winners in this keenly fought competition. There are some fascinating patterns to be seen here!
In a tie for third place are @macspite with a view of his very orderly-looking local caravan park
and @LordEdam with the caltrop-like concrete sea defences near Raynes Jetty, Llanddulas,
North Wales
We would say well done to both Mike and Rob but we can only credit Mike Griffiths for his picture of the sea wall. In a shock decision after a stewards enquiry @macspite is to be stripped of his third place as it has become apparent that he has become rather too friendly with one of the Chall Com Votalyzer™ operators and although he may post further entries, for judging purposes they are to be ignored.
To move to a happier subject - in a joint first place we have four adjacent pyramids and a star! @Acedrone and @john768 share the top honour with, respectively, the Grant Thornton building in Pavillion Drive, Northampton - looking far more interesting from above than from ground level
and the unusually shaped Havelock Academy building in Grimsby
So well done to Mike, Jason and John for their winning entries, thank you to all who sought out interesting patterns and posted them here!
