The judges may request the original media in case of a dispute.

Schedule

The competition subject will be announced every second Saturday around 22:30. The subject will be chosen by a poll of GADC members selecting from three that have been picked at random from the subject list. You may make additions to the list at any time.

Have Fun! Be Safe!

All flights are the sole responsibility of the individual conducting them. Each competitor must abide by the drone code and adhere to the limitations and restrictions imposed upon them by aviation law, the aircraft being used and the qualifications they hold. You should never hold a candle if you don’t know where it’s been. If a flight is undertaken in a restricted zone proof of permission having been granted is required.

Quite windy and difficult to get sharp images, this was the best. Next to a nature reserve so grabbed as quick as possible so as not to disturb. However when you look at the birds in shot they appear to be completely oblivious to the presence of the drone. A couple of traditional gipsy caravans just in shot top left corner

The Horseshoe is a dramatic meander of the River Severn near Arlingham, shaped by centuries of tidal surges and agricultural use. Once vital for ferry routes and trade, its low-lying land has long demanded careful flood management, visible today in raised banks and ancient embankments.

Now a haven for wetland wildlife and part of the protected Severn Estuary ecosystem, the Horseshoe supports migratory birds and SSSI habitats. It forms a scenic stretch of the Severn Way, offering panoramic views and occasional glimpses of the Severn Bore, blending natural beauty with historical and ecological significance.

Well, at least that’s what Chat GPT said!
