M48, Severn Bridge, Aust BS35 4BL

04/06/25 22:10

DJI Air 3S / 24mm

Used a 3.2 sec exposure time to achieve the traffic light streams to compliment the golden glow of the bridge. Boasting the second-highest tidal range in the world and linking England and Wales, it was built in 1966 where it’s revolutionary design for the time became a model for other suspension bridges around the world.

Personally, in this picture it reminds me of the Bifröst from Thor, otherwise known as the ‘Rainbow Bridge’. :slightly_smiling_face:

I think that is where by medium wave listening to BBC Essex used to finally give up back in the day :joy:

Ardrossan Wind Farm, North Ayrshire.

7.6.25, 13:40

DJI Mini 4 Pro

My initial plan was to find a nice country road and decorate it with a rainbow. Not a rainbow in sight. So here is a wind farm instead!
With a road. :slightly_smiling_face:

Taken 7th June on Mini 3 Pro around 9am
This road is the unclassified U713 that goes from Amulree, through the glenn and over the hills to Kenmore and Loch Tay. It’s a very scenic route, but can be extremely treacherous and undriveable in bad weather, especially in the snow or ice. Some very steep climbs and drops, and its fair share of hairpin bends to keep you twitching. Loch Freuchie is in the distance, towards the Amulree end. Sorry for the blown out highlights, but the conditions were very challenging and I’m still getting used to the pro3

Norwood Drive, North Harrow, London
Taken 8/6/2025 13:40 or thereabouts
DJI Mini 3

This is my home road and while the road may not be as scenic as others, I hope you enjoy (and allow) the panorama presentation. There are questions as to whether vertical or horizontal presentation and then which way up. I have gone with horizontal and sunny side (North) top. Anyhow something a little different.

DJI Mini 3

I was at my friends stag do in the Lake District this weekend and seeing I was close to it, I wanted to drive over Hardknott Pass. Stunning might not be the correct word to use for it, it was certainly technical.

They’ve cleared it ?

Last time I flew it (granted a few big meets ago) the main straights were full of cans and vans

Been cleared for a couple of years.

Was empty when I added it to dronescene

Down you neck of the woods again this week @JoeC . Visited Eaglesham and Whitelees today but a little wet and windy!!!

The weather has indeed been a little… crap. :frowning:

The challenge is closed but we still need to select the winners. You have until 22:00 on Wednesday 11th June to pick up to five of your favourites:

@group-challenges

Eaglesham Moor,
I thought you were from around the area?

Ah, I thought you meant Eaglesham village (which has some very nice houses - hence, ‘Mr Fancy Pants’ ).

Shame the weather wasn’t up to much for you - there are some cracking views to be had around that way. But when the wind is up, it’s really up on the moor (which is why they planted all the turbines there, I guess). Not ashamed to admit, on a cycle home once in to a particularly harsh headwind, Whitelee is where I finally had to stop and have a little sob

I’m here all week, and possibly next week too
