I’m going to try a Garmin GLO GOS gadget that connects to my iPad via Bluetooth

One of our members used to swear by them too, alas he’s not around anymore but he was suitably impressed by them:

I also use an ipad 4 mini without cellular. I do have a garmin glo as a backup in case I every want to use follow me or to reset home point (say on a boat or moving vehicle)

On the rare occasion that I need to use GPS (e.g. with follow me mode or if I move location whilst the drone is in the air), I have a Garmin GLONASS Bluetooth device.
