Rushton Triangular Lodge

Designed by Sir Thomas Tresham (father of one of the Gunpowder Plotters) and constructed between 1593 and 1597. It is a testament to Tresham’s Roman Catholicism: the number three, symbolising the Holy Trinity, is apparent everywhere. There are three floors, trefoil windows and three triangular gables on each side.

Nice one. Alway thought that it was covered up close by trees. 10 minutes from me. Gonna have to pay an after hours visit.

It is an interesting place to shot I had 3 attempts at it morning midday and evening sometimes the sun is too bright and sometimes the shadows are to long :joy:
It’s closed on Mondays and Tuesday so that’s a good time to go, good luck

Thanks for the heads up. Although I do it for photography, just can’t seem to get my head round the videos properly yet. On the day will tell.:+1:

The best view from the ground is the cornfield opposite the wall. It is difficult to get a view without going into some of the surrounding fields
Anyway good luck :+1:t5:
