From the car park you can head South towards Larne passing Winterfell (Game of Thrones location), part of which has been left for future filming, or you can head North towards Scawt Hill. There is plenty of open land for flying and great views of the Antrim coast. There are also a few ancient hill fort sites in the location.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 03/10/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
