Hi, dont know why im getting this warning on my DJI Mini 2se, when im flying in a totally open area. Also getting, [Downlink data connection lost for 15.4 seconds] seconds before
@Zipco, it would be really useful if you could share the Airdata logs for this issue, it’ll help people provide you with a more detailed answer based on what actually happened.
If you’re not familiar with Airdata it’s an independent platform that allows you to aggregate your flight records and it also allows you to share logs with other people.
Here’s a guide on how to upload your flight logs to their web site / app:
Setting up Direct DJI Sync
Once your logs are visible in Airdata you can use this guide to share the log(s) in question:
Once you’ve created the share on the Airdata web site simply reply here and paste the URL, someone will then take a closer look for you.
@Zipco cheers for the AirDAta
I would point you to an answer earlier to today to a similar issue
Looking at the logs you lose connection quite early on in the flight (60M up and 90M away) and your radio signal dips to 60%
Were you pointing the controller in the area of the drone?, one of the issues of flying in
bright conditions is the 'habit of dipping the angle of the controller to flat so you can see the screen instead of the reccomended 45 degress (pointing at the drone), or even turing round to avois sun on the screen
You could try swap the cable out, but I don’t think that is the issue here.
As an experiment, and the location looks nice and open), fly as far out as VLOS allows, pointing the controller at the drone at 45 degress and see how far you can get?
Haha! My first thought was that you’re flying whilst they’ve got a GPS jammer over Ayr for Vance visiting … then I noticed the date on the logs
Is this a regular problem, or was it just the once a month ago?
Also don’t presume just because you’re flying in an open area, you’re going to get a perfect transmission. I fly out to sea and still encounter the odd signal interference now and then. You just don’t know what’s bouncing around out there.
hi Joe, its crap , great weather andwe cant get flying because of these muppets. This was the second time this happened, once in the harbour area and this one.
once i can get out flying again i will keep an eye on this to see what happens. i will also take into account the post that you directed me to. thanks
