Saving Snatchfield

Hi All
Just a question. I ma planning on using this vid to raise awareness about a planning issue. Can anyone see a problme doing this - and is flying over the property (the field) a potential issue.
As I have made this live just now I guess it is fairly urgent.
Thanks

The irony in the name “Snatch Field”.

You could make the video hidden on YouTube, and we could move this thread to Droning on... and it’ll not then be publicly visible or indexable by search engines.

I don’t see any problem with flying over the field, but there’s a bit of the video where it looks very much like you’re flying (backwards) over the last few properties of a congested area… might just be the perspective though?

Obviously, this is footage you took for personal enjoyment of a nice, scenic spot and have since donated, for free, to the campaign… so there’s no confusing it with commercial use at all :+1::wink:

Don’t you just hate it when your video gets photobombed by properties and congested areas?

True enough, but we need it to be publicly available - so that we can raise some funds to finght the planners. No fee for me I hasten!

Sorry, I meant, for the purposes of having your questions answered here.

That corner property is on side, so he is OK. Otherwise I don’t think any of the houses are a prob. It just the land owner of the fields (& doesn’t live here) that wants to sell to developers who is the issue.

If the statements in the video are true - that the council wants to build on the land then there is no libel.

If you have given your services free of chargeand are receiving no recompense in cash or kind then there is no question of needing a PfCO.

Did you damage anything in the field or deprive any one of the enjoyment of it? If not I don;t see that anyone can object

Did you have or need permission from a landowner at your take off point or is it land available for public use - common land, footpath, bridleway etc?

I wouldn’t worry - but bear in mind I am not lawyer!

Your assumptions are right - and here is a bridleway runs right through the middle of the field (for a take off point) - so that was my thinking - but there always seems to be a BUT :innocent:
