Scotland : A journey from the sky. Drone footage from various locations around Scotland. I’m sure you’ll recognise some of them. Hope you enjoy.
Nice one. Great video.
Nice work - very epic!!!
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hi there
Great video and brilliant editing.
I love Scotland and recognised a coupe of places. I’m on Mull for a couple of weeks with her indoors and my newly aquired Air 2. I’m hoping to get some special footage, but am having to dodge wildlife and people, not to mention the weather.
I will have to start going out dead early, like you have done in a lot of your shots.
Well done, from a newbie
Thank you. You’ll get some excellent footage on Mull, beautiful place. Hopefully the weather is ok for you. The wildlife isn’t too much of an issue. As for people I find the vast majority are interested in the drone rather than being annoyed by it.
Enjoy your trip and I look forward to seeing your footage
Thanks for that. You’re right, I am managinging to stay away from the wildlife. The people are a different matter though. Being a fledgling, I am still a bit wary that the fun police will come and spoil my fun. There have been two recent reports, on the island, of drone users interfering with nesting birds and farm animals. IDIOTS!! They wont be happy til they’ve messed it up for everyone. I like to think I fly responsibly, but there are some real planks out there🤪
Agreed, there are some idiots out there who just can’t behave. Fortunately they’re in the minority.
I’ve only had 2 people approach me in a confrontational manner. First was when I was filming Dunblane cathedral and a woman employee broke a land speed record getting to me waving her arms while shouting ‘No drones’. Keep in mind I was on a public footpath I asked her what she meant and got the reply that it was against the law. I asked her what law and if that law had just been passed through parliament in the last hour. After an awkward silence she replied ‘The drone law’. I told her to bolt which she did. The next time was while filming Burntisland another woman approached and asked if I’m allowed to film anywhere near a railway line. I had just landed and had the drone in my hand so I looked at it, then at her and said ‘you’ve got a good point cause this little bit of plastic could derail a train’. That was the end of the conversation.
Excellent work! Very cinematic and great music choice.
Thank you very much.
Excellent video and good music choice. But sorry to be slightly critical here. Videos always look way better if the scene transitions are edited to the beat in the music. Take a look at Darren’s video here explaining it
Once you’ve seen this you’ll never not do it this way again. It really does make a difference
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks.
